Sonney to Host Hearings on COVID-19 Impact on Education

Curt Sonney (R-Erie), chairman of the House Education Committee, will hold two days of public hearings to gather information on the impact COVID-19 has had on Pennsylvania’s elementary and secondary schools, as well as institutions of higher education. The first day will focus on K-12 education with the second day on higher education.

House Appropriations Chairman Stan Saylor Announces Budget Hearing Schedule

WHAT: House Appropriations Committee Chairman Stan Saylor released the schedule for upcoming budget hearings today. Hearings will take place on the House floor to allow social distancing and masks will be required for all members, staff, and testifiers. The House floor will be cleaned and sanitized between hearings. Hearings will feature a mix of in-person and virtual testimony.
