In addition, Wentling is the prime sponsor of two more bills aimed to aid Pennsylvania employers. HARRISBURG- An amendment authored by Rep. Eric Davanzo (R-Westmoreland) to require the use of American-made products in solar energy projects at Pennsylvania schools was included in legislation that passed the House today. House Bill 1032 creates the Pennsylvania Solar for Schools Grant Program, which will provide financial assistance to schools to fund solar energy projects.

HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania House of Representatives today approved legislation authored by Rep. Thomas Mehaffie (R-Dauphin) to establish safe patient limits under the care of individual nurses in Pennsylvania hospitals. House Bill 106 would be known as the Patient Safety Act.

HARRISBURG – Today, legislation co-prime sponsored by Rep. Jill Cooper (R-Westmoreland) cleared the House Education Committee with a unanimous vote. House Bill 1258 proposes improvements to the current law pertaining to dual enrollment programs in Pennsylvania schools by temporarily removing the requirement that students enrolled in such programs are removed from the school’s average daily membership.
