HARRISBURG – To ensure residents can use the programs they desperately need as the quest for a budget that won’t devastate them continues, Rep. Grove, Delozier to Announce New State Law Allowing Local Pharmacies to Offer Flu Shots to Children

WHAT: Reps. Seth Grove (R-York) and Sheryl Delozier (R-Cumberland) will hold a press event at a local pharmacy to announce a new state law in effect, which allows pharmacists to offer flu vaccines to children ages 9 and older, with parental permission. Act 8 of 2015 also allows licensed pharmacy interns under the direct supervision of a pharmacist to administer the vaccine and ensures children of members of the armed services and veterans receive the flu vaccination free of charge.

Learning about the Emergency Responder and Veteran Communities

I spend a lot of my time learning about the needs of the Commonwealth’s emergency responders, veterans and their families. By always remaining informed, I can best represent these groups as the Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee majority chairman. White Introduces Resolution to Arm Military Recruiters
