HARRISBURG – Today, state Rep. Mike Armanini (R-Clearfield/Elk) shared that his legislation to make enjoying Pennsylvania’s great outdoors more accessible for military personnel and their families unanimously passed out of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee.
“
House Bill 1342 will provide a 15% discount to all active duty, retired and disabled military personnel and their immediate family on activity fees and charges at our state parks,” Armanini said. “I think this is a great way to honor these soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines who give so much so we can be safe. I am happy to see my bill pass unanimously out of committee.”
House Bill 1342 now heads to the House chamber for a vote.
