WHAT: Rep. Karen Boback (R-Lackawanna/Luzerne/Wyoming), chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will be holding a press conference on the ‘For Those Who Served’ package of bills running on the House floor this week. The bills focus on assisting veterans and their families by increasing state funding and enhancing state veterans’ programs. Other legislation seeks to further improve state veterans oversight boards.
