Barrar to Lead Vote on Bills Benefitting Veterans and Emergency Service Providers

WHAT: Rep. Steve Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), majority chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will lead the committee in a vote on a number of bills to benefit veterans and emergency service providers:

House Bill 784, which would provide for a tax credit for employers that hire veterans. 
House Bill 677, which would add a county 911 coordinator, county EMA director and regional PEMA office official to each county’s Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC). 
Senate Bill 285, which would recognize “Honor our Veterans” motorcycle license plate proceeds as a funding source for the Pennsylvania Veterans Trust Fund.
