Stephens Issues Statement on the Indictment of Attorney General Kathleen Kane
8/6/2015
HARRISBURG – Rep. Todd Stephens (R-Montgomery) released the following statement following the indictment of Attorney General Kathleen Kane:

“Today’s news that Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane will face criminal charges is a tremendous blow for our Commonwealth. A court of law will determine her guilt or innocence, but the charges alone further strain the credibility and effectiveness of the Office of Attorney General under her leadership. At this point, I think Attorney General Kane should offer her resignation. The law enforcement community, the people of Pennsylvania and victims of crime deserve to have confidence and trust in the Office of Attorney General and a system on which they can count.”
