Metcalfe, ERE Committee to Consider Consequences of Adopting California-Style Diesel Truck Emissions Regulation
WHAT: PA House Environmental Resources and Energy (ERE) Committee Majority Chairman Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler) will convene an informational meeting focusing on the economic consequences of Pennsylvania adopting California’s regulation on diesel emissions controls for large trucks.
WHO: The meeting will feature presentations from Bill Burns, corporate new truck sales manager, Kenworth of Pennsylvania; Calvin Ewell, president, H.R. Ewell; Kenton Good, sales director, Transteck Inc.; Mark Hammond, director, Bureau of Air Quality, Department of Environmental Protection (DEP); Ed Kent, new and used truck sales manager, Cumberland Truck Equipment; Greg Moreland, state director, Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB-PA); Rebecca Oyler, president and CEO; Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association; and Danielle Prebe, corporate sales coordinator, Hunter Truck.
