Polinchock Congratulates Warrington Township on Receiving Community Improvement Grant

CHALFONT – Rep. Todd Polinchock (R-Bucks) today congratulated Warrington Township on receiving a Healing the Planet grant to continue building an environmentally friendly community through projects and parks which connect the public with the outdoors.

“This is another great example of how our green spaces are actively being taken care of and preserved throughout our community,” Polinchock said. “Congratulations to the Weisel Preserve in Warrington Township on taking this project on and making our land a wonderful place for our friends and family to enjoy.”

Habitat improvements and public education at the Weisel Preserve in Warrington Township received one of 42 Healing the Planet grants. The Weisel Preserve is an open space owned by Warrington Township.

Healing the Planet grants funding ranged from $2,500 up to $25,000 on each project. All projects granted funds were required to be on public land or be for public use and located in The GIANT Company’s operating areas within Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia or West Virginia.
