Cutler, Education Committee Members Ask Governor to Opt Pennsylvania into New Federal Tax Credit Program

HARRISBURG – Rep. Bryan Cutler (R-Peach Bottom), Republican chairman of the House Education Committee, and Republican members serving on the House Education Committee, sent a letter to Gov. Josh Shapiro today, asking him to opt Pennsylvania into a new upcoming federal tax credit program that allows for individual taxpayers to receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit of up to $1,700 for contributions to scholarship granting organizations.

Anderson Appointed to PSERS Board

HARRISBURG – State Rep. Marc Anderson (R-York) has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Public School Employees' Retirement System (PSERS) Board by the speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He was appointed to replace former state Rep. Torren Ecker, who resigned recently after he was elected to serve as judge of the Court of Common Pleas in the 51st Judicial District.
